"Sorry for the randomness!"

Working in an art gallery, I'm no stranger to random people coming in here and asking me questions like where to eat around here (in which I fumble spectacularly), where an art supply store is or what a good one is, or to explain an art medium to them. But sometimes there are others. Like today.

It's Monday. Monday's are generally dead, which is why I like them. They're like a breather if after the weekend. The door cracked maybe once all day. Late in the afternoon, while I'm dancing behind the counter to music, the door opens again. I look at the door in a half hearted glare. Whom so ever has disturbed my dancing will suffer!

In walks this girl, maybe about my age and she is walking with purpose. Which means she wants something. I finally get a good view of her. She is tattooed, has a bit of her head shaved, some dreadlocks, multicolored hair, and piercings. In my gut, I know I'm going to like this girl for whatever reason. Her opening line? Sorry for the randomness. So she starts talking and it turns out that she has just moved here (she didnt say from where) and that she had just finished studying hair and other beautiful people stuff in Europe. Immediately, I was interested. So I asked her where. London she replied. And the best part? The salon she was at was right next to Baker Street!!!

We both freaked out about it.

So she continues to explain that she was just trying to meet people and was handing out her card for a salon here in town. We talk a little more and she goes to leave and chooses to bookend the entire conversation with 'Sorry for the randomness'. Im seriously considering going to her salon just so I can barrel through there screaming 'Tell me more about London!'. And also because the place I go to now (I'm a big spender and I go to Fantastic Sam's) im getting less and less happy with.
